My Friend Was Just Added To The “No-Fly” List
This one is serious. Everything here is serious, but I’m not even going to attempt to be irreverent.
My friend tried to board a flight out of LAX recently and was told he has been added to the No Fly List.
A few details about my friend:
- The only item on his record is misdemeanor shoplifting, 15 years ago when he was in his early 20s.
- He has an activist background that ended well over 10 years ago.
- He is Caucasian, married, has one child, and lives the most standard American middle-class life ever.
The most likely theory is that he was added to the No Fly List as a retaliatory move after refusing to testify to a Grand Jury investigating some activist-related activity that occurred in the late-1990s. Again: he was not a suspect, and was never convicted of a crime.
He could be any of us.
I suspect I will be next.
My theory: Things will get worse before they get better, and those of us on the Selectee List (“The List”) will be quietly moved to the No Fly List either gradually, or abruptly after the next fake “terrorist” attack.
The more they flirt with practices even their most supplicant, slavish defenders can’t get behind, the faster they’ll get destroyed in the court of public opinion, and then a court of gavels and hard consequences.
Can’t wait.
I respect everything you’ve done and continue to do, but don’t understand what you’re saying about “fake” and “staged” attacks. Are you saying that the most recent attack in California or wherever was fake/staged? I don’t know whether it was terrorism or not, but it seemed pretty fucking real to me. What are you implying? That those people aren’t dead?
He might possibly be referring to suspicions some attacks may have been so called “flase flag” operations. Well. At least, that’s what I garnered from entertaining myself with consipracy theories. Like there’s this Flat Earth movement for example, and I can’t decide whether it’s trolling or if believers are mentally ill and should immediately start therapy…
Hey, did you ever wonder, what is the purpose of the no-fly list? It’s truly can’t be because somebody is too dangerous to let them on an airplane. Today TSA can squeeze somebody’s nuts, tear their luggage apart and bombard them with x-rays. Surely they can rule out an imminent danger, even if somebody is flagged on some sort of watchlist.
So what is the purpose? Intimidation? Interference with free travel? What would be the benefit of this other than to harass people?
